On Sunday, 24/3/2024 Direct Aid Association and Yamany Foundation (YDH) concluded, the Iftar Project (distribution of food baskets) for beneficiaries in Aden governorate, in its second phase with the distribution of 800 food baskets targeted the host community and IDPs. in Al-Buraiqeh District.
Ms. Amina Al-Hashli, The General Director of the Social Affairs Office in Al-Buraiqa District, appreciated the effective efforts of the Direct Aid Association, Yemen Office, and Yamany Foundation (YDH), in securing the food needs of the needy families in the district, including IDPs. and the host community.
As the Director of Aden Unit of the Direct Aid Office, Dr. Aiman Zabara, added that this project comes in partnership with Yamany Foundation (YDH) that targets 1,200 families with 1,200 food baskets. between a host community and IDPs. Adding that the first phase of the project was implemented last Thursday, 3/21/2024, by distributing 400 food baskets to 400 displaced families in Al-Buraiqa District.
In turn, Dr. Anas Saif, Director of Programs and Projects at the Yamani Foundation (YDH) confirmed that this project will contribute to reducing the deterioration of the living conditions of the needy displaced families and the host community, especially in the month of Ramadan.
Pointing out that the project in Al-Buraiqa District is part of the Iftar Project in Aden Governorate, and was implemented in two phases, from which 5,600 individuals in the district benefited in its two phases.
