On Wednesday morning, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) launched the activities of providing a school bag and cash sponsoring (educational, health, living) in the governorate of Lahij, as part of the activities of the orphan’s sponsorship project and the economic empowerment of their families in its second phase in conjunction with the World Education Day, through the implementing partner Yamany Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Works. (YDH).
150 school bags were distributed that will contribute to completing the educational stage, and cash sponsorships were provided to 150 orphan beneficiaries. As the number of beneficiary families reached 50 families.
As the Director of Social Affairs and Labour office in Lahij governorate mr. Sa’ab Abdullaziz expressed his thanks to the friends of the Kingdome of Sadia Arabia and their efforts of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) and the implementing partner Yamany Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Works (YDH) in Lahij governorate.
“The project of sponsoring orphans and economic empowerment of their families in its second phase targets 150 orphans with educational, health, living sponsorships in Lahij governorate, as well as 50 families with variety of trainings according to the families desire in selecting the professions” said Dr. Anas Saif Projects and Programs Director in Yamany Foundation (YDH).
Dr. Anas Saif pointed out that the school bag was distributed to coincide with World Education Day and its specifications disaier determined according to the education cluster standards in Yemen.
