On Tuesday morning, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) launched the activities of providing a school bag and cash sponsoring (educational, health, living) in the givernorates of Alkhubb and Alsha’af, as part of the activities of the orphan’s sponsorship project and the economic empowerment of their families in its second phase in conjunction with the World Education Day, through the implementing partner Yamany Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Works. (YDH).
150 school bags were distributed that will contribute to completing the educational stage, and cash sponsorships were provided to 150 orphan beneficiaries. As the number of beneficiary families reached 50 families.
As Mr. Mohammed Dammaj, Director of the Office of the governor of Al-Jawf governorate thanked the friends in the Kingdom of Saudia Arabia and their efforts through their humanitarian arm King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) in Aljawf governorate.
Dammaj pointed out that Al-Jawf Governorate, which is rich in natural resources however poor in services and the basics necessities of life, may be non-existent, and such projects as sponsoring orphans and economic empowerment benefit the orphans and the breadwinner through training and empowering them.
“The project to sponsor orphans and economic empowerment of their families in the second phase, seeks to complete the educational stage for the orphans and to empower the breadwinner families in Aljawf governorate through various activities including cash sponsorships (educational, living and health) and training a family member to acquire skills in one of the basics professions” said Dr. Radwan Al-Dawasi Director of Yamany Foundation Office in Marib Governorate.
