Aden – Foundation’s media
funded by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) and through their implementing partner, Yamany Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Work (YDH), is preparing to implement economic empowerment activities for dependent families.
On Monday morning, Yamany Foundation (YDH) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Technical Education and professional training in Aden governorate.
The orphan sponsorship and economic empowerment of their families’ project, funded by King Salman Center (KSRelief), aims to train 440 families in various professions and provide them with all of the supplies that will contribute to start small projects after the training.
During the signing, the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Technical Education and Professional Training, Mr. Abdo Rabbo Ghanem Al-mahawalli, stressed the importance of the orphans ‘ sponsorship and economic empowerment project, the second stage, especially the economic empowerment of the dependent families through training them according to their wishes in various professions and providing the requirements for the establishment of an income-generating project.
The Deputy praised the role of King Salman Center (YDH) in their interest in this group, which hasn’t received any support, as well as their keenness to provide a source of income for dependent families.
As Dr. Anas Saif, Programs and Projects Director at Yamany Foundation (YDH), welcomed the ministry’s role in facilitating all transactions and dedicating most of their time to support organizations and foundations in the success of projects targeting the professional and training aspect.
