As part of its efforts to support needy families, King Salman Center (KSRelief)’s office in Aden followed up the progress of the training and capacity building center as part of its initiative to sponsor orphans and enhance the economic independence of families, in partnership with Yamany Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Works (YDH).
The training program includes a wide range of skills such as mobile phone maintenance, electricity and solar energy, sweets making, hairdressing, henna art, sewing, embroidery, and home-made accessories.
In Aden governorate, 50 families with orphans benefited from these training courses:
– Hairdressing
– Sweets and pastries making
– Henna art
– Incense and perfume making
– Mobile phone maintenance
– Home-made accessories
– Electricity and solar energy systems
– Sewing
– Embroidery
These efforts will contribute to supporting and empowering 440 families who have lost their breadwinners in eight Yemeni governorates, Aden, Lahj, Taiz, Hadhramaut, Marib, Al-Jawf, Al-Mahra, and Al-Hudaydah.
The Center’s role is highly appreciated in supporting such productive projects and other projects in Yemen that have strengthened economic stability and opened new horizons for these families.
