In coincide with the Arab Orphan Week, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) delivers the eighth phase of monthly sponsorships to orphans from the targeted families in the governorates of (Aden, Marib and Lahj) and launches an awareness campaign emphasizing on rights of orphans and the duty of society towards them.

Coinciding with the Arab Orphan Week, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) delivers the eighth phase of sponsoring orphans through the implementing partner, Yamany Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Work (YDH) today in Aden and Marib governorates, as part of the project to sponsor orphans and economic empowerment of their families, and launches an awareness campaign on the rights of orphans and the duty of society towards them through local radio stations in targeted governorates
The project aims to provide educational and living sponsorship for 536 orphans for a whole year, as well as to training, supporting and empowering 166 families supporting orphans economically in the governorates of Aden, Marib and Lahj
Where Mr. Saleh Mahmoud, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, stated the importance of the project for families supporting orphans, as it will contribute to improving their living and social conditions. He thanked the efforts of King Salman Relief Center for its support and funding for this important segment for all, stressing the need to pay attention to the orphan segment as one of the societal segments that in need to look after, praising the humanitarian and relief efforts and interventions of the King Salman Center in various fields, expressing their keenness and willingness to provide facilities and overcome difficulties in order to implement relief and development projects in Yemen
For his part, Anas Saif, Projects Director of Yamany Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Work (YDH) explained that this eighth phase of the delivery of sponsorships coincides with the Arab Orphan Week funded by King Salman Center within the project of sponsoring orphans and economic empowerment of their families, which is being implemented in the governorates of Aden, Lahj, and Marib, targeting 536 orphans, and 166 families supporting orphans in the three governorates. Pointing out that there is a symposium and an awareness campaign about the rights of orphans, coming along with the Arab Orphan Week
