Within the framework of the permanent coordination between the Foundation and the relevant government agencies, Dr. Anas Saif, Projects Manager at Yamany Foundation, visited the Director General of Social Affairs and Labor in Aden Governorate, Dr. Mohammad Mahmoud, today’s morning 21 February 2023, to discuss the work progress of the projects implemented during the last period.
In the meeting, the Foundation\’s Projects Director reviewed the details of what has been accomplished in the project of sponsoring orphans and economic empowerment of their families funded by King Salman for Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center during the past six months, as well as the mechanism for implementing the next stage of the project.
It is worth mentioning that the project of sponsoring orphans and their families\’ economic empowerment targets 536 orphans and 166 orphans\’ families in Aden, Lahij and Marib governorates. In Aden governorate, 153 orphans are targeted with an educational and living guarantee, as well as training, supporting and enabling 50 orphans\’ families economically by enrolling them in training courses in Management of Small Projects, and providing supplies and possibilities that enable them to start operating their own projects and bring about an economic transformation in their lives.
At the end of the meeting, the director of the Office of Social Affairs and Labor in Aden Governorate, expressed his admiration for the quality and accuracy of the implementation of the project in its previous stages, wishing the project management success in the upcoming stages of the project. For his part, Dr. Anas Saif, Director of Projects at the Foundation, expressed his thanks and gratitude to the management of the Office of Social Affairs and Labor in Aden Governorate for their cooperation and for providing the necessary facilities for the Foundation\’s projects in the governorate.
