Project Title: Sponsorship and Economic Empowerment for Orphans
and their families in Yemen

As part of project implementation, YDH team in Aden had a meeting with Mr. Saeb Abdulaziz the manger of MoSAL office in Lahj govenorate to cooridnate the ongoing project activities, targeted beneficiaries and the achievements up to date.
During the meeting, YDH team presented the project progress indicated that a total 171 orphans recieved educational and living cash transfer and 66 families recieved life-skills trained and benefitted from starter packages that include tools and grant so that they can start their own businesses. The income-generating projects that were handed over to the beneficiary family vary between grocery projects, vegetable and fruit salads, professional bags for mobile maintenance, electrical extensions, incense industry
YDH team also shared with MoSAL the monitoring mechanism that YDH taken to following up project activities and messure the project impact on the target beneficiaries.
Furthermore, YDH shared lists of orphans and families who got the assistance and it was signed by MoSAL office as supervisory authority for the project.
At the end of the meeting, the YDH team thanked the manage of MoSAL office for their permanent cooperation and facilitating the implementation tasks of the project activities in Lahj governorate.
