*The Ambassador of Our Country to Egypt Meets with the Delegation of Yamany Foundation (YDH)*

 

Our country’s ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr. Khaled Mahfouz Bahah, met this Sunday morning with the delegation of Yamany Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Works, which included both Mr. Ahmed Al-Akwa’a, President of the Foundation, and Mr. Mohammed Darman, Vice President of the Foundation.

The meeting comes on the sidelines of the celebration held by the Arab Organization for Administrative Development in Cairo to honor the winners of the Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Award for the Best Charity Performance in the Arab World 2023-2024.

During the meeting, the Ambassador congratulated the Foundation on winning the Excellence Award and winning the Best Charity Performance in the Arab world in its third cycle, expressing his pride in this achievement, stressing the need to redouble efforts after this honor and set priorities and future plans for sustainable projects needed by society.

The ambassador also heard from the president of the Foundation about the overall activities and areas of work of the charity, relief, development and other fields.

The meeting also touched the possibility of joint cooperation and coordination for sustainable projects.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Ahmed Al-Akwa, President of Yamany Foundation, thanked His Excellency the Ambassador for the generous meeting and invitation to meet with the Foundation’s delegation, considering that coordination between government agencies and humanitarian institutions reflects the level of awareness of the importance of institutional work, and enhances joint cooperation and coordination to develop and study ideas and implement projects according to urgent needs that serve the community.

The Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Foundation for Humanitarian Development, in cooperation with the Arab Organization for Administrative Development of the League of Arab States, nominated 188 charitable institutions out of 300 institutions from all over the Arab countries, distributed among 51 large, 70 medium and 67 small institutions.
