In an important step towards enhancing humanitarian and development cooperation, an agreement was signed between the Yamany Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Works (YDH) and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in Aden governorate.
This agreement comes to implement Eid Al-Adha project, which is funded by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief), which aims to distribute sacrificial meat to the needy families in the governorate.
The signing took place in the presence of Representatives from both sides, where the Ministry was represented by Mr. Saleh Mahmoud, Undersecretary of the Social Welfare Sector, and from the Foundation’s side, Mr. Mohammed Darman, Project Coordinator.
This project is part of an ongoing effort to support the neediest families and improve their living conditions.
It is worth mentioning that the project will contribute to the distribution of sacrifices to 4,660 families with 32,620 beneficiaries in five targeted governorates (Aden, Lahij, Hadramout, Marib, Al-Mahra).
This agreement expresses the commitment of the parties concerned to work together to achieve humanitarian and development goals, and significant step towards enhancing food security and supporting the neediest families in the governorate.
