Lahj: 21 Trainees Complete a Beekeeping Training Program under the “Aghnoohom An Al-Su’al” Project
The Yamany Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Work (YDH) concluded today a Beekeeping and Honey Production training program in Tuban District, Lahj Governorate, benefiting 21 trainees. The program was implemented with the support of Direct_aid Society – Yemen Office under the “Aghnoohom An Al-Su’al” Economic Empowerment Project.
The closing ceremony was attended by Eng. Hood Baghazi, Director General of Tuban District, and Mr. Saib Abdulaziz, Director of the Social Affairs and Labor Office in Lahj Governorate, who commended the efforts of the Foundation and Directـaid in implementing impactful initiatives that strengthen the economic empowerment of vulnerable households.
During the training, participants received both theoretical and practical instruction covering modern hive management, honeybee disease prevention, honey production, and marketing principles, equipping them with the skills needed to establish sustainable income-generating beekeeping enterprises.
At the conclusion of the program, certificates were awarded to all trainees. The Yamany Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to providing continuous technical follow-up and support to beneficiaries to ensure the success and sustainability of their projects, while expressing its appreciation to the local authorities for facilitating the implementation of the project activities.
