Among 30 institutions, Yamany Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Works (YDH), won the Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Award, in its third cycle, for the best charitable performance at the level of the Arab world.
It came during the press conference, held today, at the headquarters of the Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Foundation for Human Development, in the city of Dammam, eastern Saudi Arabia.
The award aims to provide opportunities for charitable and humanitarian associations in the Arab world to achieve the best performance and to establish a culture of excellence in these institutions and associations through the award criteria that these institutions and associations are working to apply to qualify them to enter the competition, which relate to leadership, services provided, satisfaction of beneficiaries, development of financial resources, time management and other criteria associated with performance.
188 charitable institutions were nominated for the award out of 300 institutions from all over the Arab countries, which varied between large (51), medium (70) and small (67) institutions, representing 17 countries, and 30 winning institutions were selected, distributed equally among the three categories.
