Yamani charity foundation for human development held yesterday evening its tenth free medical camp for removal of cataract and lens transplantation which is held at the displaced camp in Alafyush area in Lahj governorate.
The project was opened and we met the displaced to be informed about their problems and needs.
While the head of the foundation visited the team of the ophthalmic camp and the specialized medical staff of the intranational ophthalmic charity foundation and urged them to make more efforts and work for service of the targeted in the camp and inspect the largest number possible of men, women, elderly people and children.
While, the work team began receiving the targeted cases and then register them and passed them on to the medical commission and the specialist doctors, who are in turn examined a large number of the camp inhabitants who are suffering from lack and are considered as the most impoverished sector.
The medical commission and its medical team examined the targeted and then carried out the necessary test of those who have a cataract in preparation for the free surgery operation on them which is scheduled for next Friday at Maka\’a eye hospital in Aden.
The targeted displaced expressed their deep happens with this project they also, thanked the Yamani foundation and the authority which supports this humanitarian initiative and the honorable merciful attention.
They demanded all humanitarian organizations and societies to carry out their role and contribute by providing the relief and health requirements and other things lacking by the inhabitants of the camps in Lahj governorate.
Yamani foundation with God help will continue to target this strata which is one of the most important sectors of the society which is suffering from poverty and displacement and lack the simplest components of honorable life which all must work together to bring about and provide all means of assistance for them as available and within reach.
The head of the foundation also thanked at the end of his speech all the supporters and benevolent for their given away and for contributing to relieve the suffering of the poor in aspects including health which Yamani foundation gives it high attention, and Lahj governorate camp is the tenth camp and the foundation is preparing to hold the eleventh camp in Aden after the completion of the Lahj camp.
It is worthy of mention that the foundation has already set up nine camps in several Yamani gov. by Gods grace
