Abyan.. KSrelief Continues Distribution of Food Baskets under the Emergency Food Interventions Project

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched today the distribution of (2,160) food baskets to the most vulnerable households in Abyan Governorate, through the implementing partner Yamany Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Work (YDH), as part of the second phase of the Emergency Food Interventions Project in Yemen.

The launch was attended by Mr. Ahmed Nasser Jarfoush, Deputy Governor of Abyan; Mr. Haidera Al-Hindi, Director of the Social Affairs and Labor Office in Zinjibar District; and Mr. Ali Ibrahim, representative of the Social Affairs and Labor Office in the governorate.

Mr. Ahmed Nasser Jarfoush, Deputy Governor of Abyan, emphasized the importance of these humanitarian interventions in alleviating the suffering of the most vulnerable families, praising the humanitarian role of KSrelief in supporting the Yemeni people across various governorates, especially under the current economic and humanitarian conditions.

For their part, representatives of the Social Affairs and Labor Office stated that the project contributes to enhancing food security for the targeted groups, stressing the importance of continuing humanitarian interventions to meet the growing needs of poor and displaced families in the governorate.

Yamany Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Work affirmed that the project is implemented in accordance with clear mechanisms and approved humanitarian standards to ensure that assistance reaches eligible beneficiaries efficiently and transparently, in coordination with relevant authorities, contributing to alleviating living burdens and improving food security in the targeted areas.
